The service

RedlineKit is an online service at redlinekit.com. Compare two Word files or two PDFs in your browser and see every insertion, deletion and move. Export the redline as PDF or Word tracked changes. It is provided on a best-efforts basis and is not a substitute for your own professional judgement. Check results before relying on them.

Credits

Credits are sold in packs (10 exports for £5, 50 exports for £15), paid once through Stripe. One credit buys one export. Credits never expire. Because a credit is digital content delivered at once, you agree it starts straight away and you lose the right to cancel once a credit is used. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase: email hello@redlinekit.com.

Use

Only use files you have the right to use. Don't try to get around the payment system or overload the service.

Accuracy

RedlineKit compares the text it can read from your files. Check anything that matters against the documents themselves: text in headers, footers, footnotes, comments, text boxes and images is not compared, and text read from PDFs depends on how the PDF was made.

Liability and law

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude liability for consequential loss. These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
